To a first approximation, skipping three turns out of 300 turns (a 1%
turns reduction) will reduce the inductance by double percentage, to a
2% inductance reduction. Counting those turns is a bitch.....bet I count
'em three times per toroid, hi. But it's just recounting, not starting
over with a new winding!

BTW, it's somethings difficult to decide when to stop counting. Mentally
(or actually!) hook the start and finish wire ends together. Now count
the number of complete turns you have.
