Hi All,

I realized that it was important to see the flag status indicator on the
DSP board so designed a transistor interface to act as a pulse stretcher,
LED driver and used the spare feed through capacitor to carry this
signal to a LED mounted on the outside of the Die cast enclosure. If
there is an interest I will find a way to post the diagram.

I did not have a problem reverting to normal operation with the older
software which I kept in a separate folder.

At times I found that it is tricky to get the DSP in to the proper state.
I suggest that the serial port be disconnected while doing a power cycle
then reconnect right before starting the program. I reason that there may
be a feedback path through the serial port interface that keeps enough DC
on the DSP to keep it from being reset with a power cycle.

Hope this helps
