[DSP-10] Serial Bus Diagnostics

Yes, you can only have one program active at a time.

The first program, the one in the EZKIT ROM, contains a command
interpreter. This allows the commands from the serial port (for
example) to be parsed. EZLOAD's last step is to tell the program
counter to start again, thus launching your program.

Udiag1 is a simple-enough program that the monitor (command interpreter)
is not run during execution.

I would suggest Teik Chuan take a look at Bob's udiag1, AND udiag2
programs. (I have a udiag3 off of my website as well). These will
greatly assist in the steps towards obtaining PLL lock on both local
oscillators. Until this is achieved and confirmed, it is pointless to
launch the application (uhf3) software.

Good luck with the tuneup procedures.

If memory serves, you can have only 1 active program in the 2181 so I
think
yes, you need to reset after loading udiag1 to clear memory for UHF3 to
load
into.

Others on the list ?? Comments welcome as it has been a while since I
was
active here..
