[DSP-10] Testing KDSP10/DSPx

The serial cable is the first thing to check.  If you short pins 2 and 3 on
the far end  (KDSP10 end) of the cable, you should see your typed characters
"echoed" back to you while you are in HyperTerm.  See
http://www.indiacam.net/pinout/#3 for pinouts on PC serial ports.  In
HyterTerm, go to File/Properties and on the "New Connection Properties"
form, make sure that the "Connect using:" is the correct serial port.  With
the correct port selected, click the "Configure" button to set the baud rate
and other parameters (9600, 8, None,1, None).  Try it with "Handshaking" off
to allow the port to send data without "seeing" DTR/CTS", etc.
