Hello Everyone,
I've been helping Art with his IBM Thinkpad model 380D running Windows 95 to
work with his DSP-10.
I am able to get UHF3.EXE loaded with the ADI EZ-Kit Lite Monitor program
from Windows 95. Then I reboot to DOS (by selecting Start -> Shutdown ->
Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode?). At the DOS prompt I type "UHFA.EXE
2" and that's when UHFA.EXE comes up in the splash screen, then hit enter,
then there's a pause as it says it's downloading DSP pointers. After a few
moments it beeps and says it timed out.
The DSP-10 works fine with another Toshiba laptop, so I know that the DSP-10
is fine. It appears that the serial port (COM2) on the Thinkpad does not
want to play when in DOS mode.
Any ideas?
