[DSP-10] How to activate simulator

I use Win XP with FAT32 file system and win98 boot up disk to boot into DOS 
mode. In DOS, I've set the following:

set path=d:\adi_dsp\21xx\lib;
set path=%path%d:\adi_dsp\21xx\bin;
set path=%path%d:\adi_dsp\21xx\etc;
set path=%path%d:\adi_dsp\21xx\include;
set adi_dsp=d:\adi_dsp\
set adii=d:\adi_dsp\21xx\include;

I was able to run the following commads:
asm21 demo -2181
ld21 demo -a ezkit_lt -e demo -x -g

But when I wanted to run the simulator as follow,
sim2181 -a ezkit_lt -e demo
it gave me error "Can't open architecture fle...".
In fact, the architecture file is in the current directory.

May I know how to activate the simulator ?
Which step I missed out ?
Or could it be that it doesn't run in XP ?
