Yes, I am very familiar with Leif's Linrad.

Then you may be interested in an adapter that Moe Wheatley AE4JY and I
started many moons ago.

The adapter board that provides control of the DSP-10 effectively removing
the embedded DSP.  Then you connect the sound in and out of the DSP-10 to
your PC.  I did the hardware and Moe started the firmware.  Moe documents
some of the challenges on his web page at
