I suspect you typo'd and the part number is LMX2335LM. In that case, they
are both 1100 MHz. PLL chips in a 16 pin "SO" package. Unfortunately, the
similarity ends there. They are NOT pin compatible and since there block
functions differ, I suspect their programming differs also. Go with TAPR
for the parts until (if?) the DSP-10 PC board/software is updated. The
LMX2316 is listed as the suggested replacement but it is in a TSSOP package
that has finer lead pitch, and many other differences.
