[DSP-10] Transmit Led and No RF Hdw

I am trying to get a KDSP10 interfaced to the DSP-10 main board. When I 
run UHFA the Transmit Led does not go out. Also in the upper left hand 
corner once UHFA it shows "No RF Hdw". I have checked the connections 
from the KDSP10 to the main board and they all appear to be good.  

Also I know that I am having a grounding issue between the box that the 
KDSP10 is in and the main board.  When the box containing the KDSP10 was 
in side the case with the main board UHFA would not run because 
'hardware_ptt' was not zero. When I moved the box containing the KDSP10 
out of the case UHFA would run. I connected P1-(2,5) and J5-5 of the 
KDSP10 to the inside on the box. I connected pin 5 of the serial port on 
the steel case to the side of the box containing the KDSP10.       

Any help would be appreciated.
