[DSP-10] Trouble Downloading Pointers

Hi Bob,
After checking the version of EZFAST, it was identified as having a file
size of 14237. I tried everything, but I could not get UHFA to load. Then
I made a boot disk for my laptop. Guess what? IT LOADED!!!
The computer that I was using has an AMD Duron processor running at
700 MHz, my laptop uses a Pentium (with MMX) processor running at
200 MHz. I couldn't believe the speed would make that much of a
difference, but I guess it does. Anyway, since I had planned on using
the DSP-10 with my laptop, this worked out ok.
It was necessary to change the line in DSP.BAT saying "EZFAST 1
UHF3.EXE G" to "EZFAST L 1 UHF3.EXE G", without slowing it down,
I was getting a timeout error. I'm not sure if there are other problems, so
far I haven't heard any stations and I can't get the transmit light to come
on, but at least I am now making progress. I'm in the process of reading
up on it and learning the DOS commands, hopefully that will take care of
everything. Thanks to you and Bole, I really appreciate all of your help.
73, Nancy NJ8B
