QUESTION: Does the ADSP2181 have enough computing power to do a proper job of
PSK31 demodulation?

If so, even if the EZKit-Lite from Analog Devices is (or will be) unavailable, a
"replacement" amateur board design, plus AD218x chip and a codec will be a
fraction of the cost, size and power consumption of any PC solution. A 5W PSK31
rig and a gel cell would then fit in a backpack or satchel for backpacking or as
a data link from an emergency site.
