Is this practical?  Could you put out a little DSP board at hobbiest
volumes for around $100?  Most bare PC boards I've seen for ham
projects seem to run almost that much.  I don't have the skills to
design such a thing or set up the manufacturing but I could put some
money towards the project and work on the software.
