[Drake] 2-NT VFO Choice

The fairly scarce WRL-755 or WRL-755A VFO come close to the HA-5 VFO for stability, much better than the HG-10 / HG-10B.  The only difference between the HG-10 and HG-10B is the paint job on the cabinet.  The HG-10 has a smooth finish and the HG-10B has a rougher finish.  The "guts" are exactly the same!

Thanks for your input. The HA-5 is getting several 'votes'. I can see why it might 
be pretty stable, with the LF osc and heterodyne scheme. So far, I think the HA-5 
will be first on the want list, and maybe a HG-10B in second place, even tho it does 
not have an internal p/s. Of course, the list is subject to change. Tnx.....
