[Drake] 2-NT VFO Choice

Hi Stephanie and others and tnx for the responses.
I am using an Eico 723 with the 722 vfo. My particular
vfo is pretty drifty and jumpy. I guess I should go
back thru it and see if I can make it a bit more
stable. I use several HG-10Bs, which are generally,
pretty stable. I found some minor mod and hook-up info,
on the web, which could be done to use it with the 2-NT.
I also run several Knight vfos, which are self powered
and also pretty stable. The HA-5 seems it might be the
best of the lot, but it is usually pretty pricey and rare
on eBay. I will be on the watch for some nice vfos of
the makes mentioned. I don't mind xtals at all, but a
vfo helps when a band is crowded and my xtal freq. is busy.
Thanks....73 de Bill K4JYS
