the 7 line.

I have a PS-7 that is putting out 27 volts! Anyone have an
idea what could be bad? The MNA3500 tests good.

I wanted to tell all who had suggestions all at the same
time. The problem has been solved. When I removed the board
to look at the 1723 chip I noticed that the 4 pin connector
was not connected properly to the 3 pins on the transistor
that is heat-sinked to the bottom. When I reinstalled it
correctly 13.8 is the output. Thanks to all who responded
you made me look harder.

I have a 2-B that I bought from well-known collector Sindre
Torp, LA6OP.
It has the EU-standard plug on the power cord.
I need an original plug - the US standard - if anyone has
one for sale.
Thanks in advance and 73 de Jim - AD6CW

Hello all,
I have a TR4 that has an open AF gain pot. So far I
have not been able to
find one. From what I can learn, it appears that this
AF/RF gain pot
assembly was used from the TR3 to the end of TR4(c)(cw)
production.
Any chance someone has one of these or knows where I can
obtain one?

Ron -
These are hard to find. They show up on eBay every
once in a while, but draw big bids.
Some have had success in purchasing a 500k audio pot by CTS,
disassembling and replacing the
element in the original switch.
The same configuration was used throughout the TR-3/4(any)
production.
You might want to repost your want on the DrakeRadio Yahoo
group. MUCH larger audience.
