[Drake] Drake 2-B Hum - Fixed

I finally got back to this project. The problem was that the previous fixer did not 
put the individual 'lytics in the proper place. Had the 10uf's where the 100uf's should 
have been. With proper orientation, the hum is much reduced...and this rcvr is 
hot...sensitivity wise. I'm hearing lots of sigs on ten mtrs with a mediocre antenna. 
And with the 2-BQ...whata nice cw rcvr. I run another 2-B/2-BQ with a Eico 720 
which makes a wonderful vintage cw station. The boys at Drake really knew their stuff. 
Thanks for all the suggestions. I shuda cked over the previous work first. I may later 
get a can 'lytic from Hayseed. 
  
Now on to the next project...another hummer. The R-388 gave out a loud groan 
last month, while in use. I hope that is only the 'lytic. Tnx to all respondents.
