[Drake] This list? Keep it or not?

You want to know why the list is inactive?  The reason is,  the list ran off and pissed off the most knowledgeable person on Drake equipment, or at least the guy most willing to help others.  He is Garey Barrell, K4OAH.  Garey has done more to help Drake collectors keep their Drake gear going then all other collectors combined.  This list ran him off, he is active on the other list and people wanting Drake help go there for help and info.  It's that simple.  If you really want up to date real help, that is now the place to go. You have a better chance of getting answers there then here.   It's that simple.  This list was once the best of the two, but the table has shifted.  The loss of Garey is what did it.  No,  I am not in love with Yahoo either, but it works, it is FREE and I have not had a problem with it and obviously a lot of others have not had a problem with it either.    So if you don't want a Y ahoo group on your computer, stay in the dark.  T hat's your decision and choice.  If Yahoo is a problem, it's a cheap price to pay so you can be connected with Garey, in my estimation.  You asked, and this is my reply.  I'm not trying to ruffle feathers but just give the plain truth as to why the activity on here has fallen off.
