Hi Scott, et al,
I have an R-4A which has had this done to it, makes it very nice. The
previous owner didn't like the non-stock idea, a toggle switch on the
front panel to change SB's, and maybe didn't appreciate how nice it
was. So I got it at a good price some yrs ago. There was an article
somewhere, one of the mags 15+ yrs ago I think, I should have a cc in my
archives, I'll take a look. I don't think the term "roofing filter" was
in use back then.
