[Drake] DRake TR7 TR pop

TR7 gurus - or present users.

I just got my TR7 out of about 7 year storage and am getting a pretty good 
"pop" on CW when going from transmit to receive.

I don't remember that being there. I did the key click mods by K8AC/K4OAH 
and key clicks are fixed but this "pop" is annoying .(Incidentally the"pop" 
is there   with or without the keying time constant changes)

I get the same "pop" if I assert PTT first then send - but when release PTT 
to go to RX the pop is there .

I pulled the TR Relay and exercised it and put about 10 ma thru all the NC 
and NO contacts for a few minutes but no change at all.

I just checked on AM , RTTY , LSB , and USB asserting PTT and the pop is
not there when release PTT if I delay a half second or so to open PTT.

Is this normal ?? I just cannot remember .I know that the audio is left on 
in CW so you have the monitor but seems like a time contstant may have 
changed somewhere ????
