[Drake] Firing up "4-Line" after 10+ years

Thanks for all of the good advice on this matter.

The only suggestion not under consideration is to sell the 4-Line in 
favor of JA equipment.
I'm tending toward an all-American shack, with only the FT-847, FT-817 
and IC-706 (which the XYL claims) remaining.
Besides, how far would the proceeds go toward the purchase of an 
FTDX-5000 or TS-990?

Looks like I will go with the recap kits, even at about $200, since I 
really want to keep the equipment for the long run.
I can't see spending the money on a variac or a capacitor analyzer, 
since they would be used only once.  The only other vintage equipment 
that I own is a Drake 2-B/2-BQ.
