Or the ALC connector.  Neither was required  by the TR-3 that the supply was designed for.  Once the 
T-4X came along we solved that by adding RCA 'pigtails' out the back of the Jones connector.  Some 
just moved the existing Speaker pigtail over to the contacts for the Amp T/R.
