[Drake] 7077 Mic Element

John,

For a friend, I once replaced the 7077 element with a Heil HC-5 
element.  The mic was used with a Drake TR-7.  I do not recall 
whether I then made the mic connection to Pin 1 or Pin 4 of the mic 
connector.  But I do remember that the resultant audio was nice and 
clean with a good response in the speech articulation range.  I made 
this change when Heil was selling its mic cartridges as stand alone 
products.  Not sure Heil does that any longer now that it is 
promoting its many microphones.
