[Drake] TR4C TX trouble

As in many things, when all else fails, read the instructions! We're all
guilty of the same thing! Just this morning I helped a ham with his auto
tuner on an old KW transceiver-he needed some carrier going thru to make it
tune!
Glad you got it going!

NEVER MIND, I am the worlds biggest dumb alpha sierra sierra !
It seems like I will never get it through my head how this Drake radio
is designed. I keep thinking I can tune in the SIDEBAND X position
using X-CW and then switch to the ccw position of the SIDEBAND switch
(I corrected the 40M SW position below) and still see power out in the
X-CW position.
I keep thinking like HEATH and COLLINS, and others where you can
usually switch to CW and hit the key whether you are in USB or LSB
during a voice QSO. I just need somebody to hit me up side of the
head, but that would just scramble my brain even more I guess.
Thanks for everybody's extreme patience with my ridiculous postings.
You are such a great bunch of guys to tolerate my idiotic ramblings.
