A couple of  recommended period keyers for use with the C-Line:

Hal Devices 1550 with Station ID (Review in December 1972 QST)
Autek Research MK-1 Memory Keyer (Review in June 1977 QST)

I still have my original MK-1 in use on both my B and C lines.  I upgraded to
the MK-1 from the Hal 1550.  I think the Hal 1550 is pretty rare these days,
but I have seen several MK-1 units for sale in the past on that unmentionable
auction site.
