Much to my chagrin i am selling off my Drake gear.  

T-4X with new finals.  Excellent conditon  $250
MS-4 speaker, again excellent condition $70
AC-3 supply for the T-4X $75
R-4C-  Needs the VFO taken out, lubed and reinstalled.  Otherwise full of filters, extra band xtals and good tubes.  Excellent otherwise.  $300

I bought this stuff over the past 5 years to replace my original Drake station i put into use back in the early 70's.  Course then i used the R-4B which in my estimation was one of the best radios around.  Not being able to find the R-4B i wanted i settled for the R-4C.  I did use the R-4C until i figured out what the problem was with the VFO.  I've been meaning to ship it off to one of the Drake repair stations but other things keep interfering with that line of thought.  SO now it sets in the closet on an old tea table covered for protection.  

When i bought the T-4X i was told it worked as it should.  Wattmeter showed about 60 watts so that was the first clue that the finals were flat.  I put new ones in and made an external adjustment, one of those on the side and i don't remember which one now but the power came up to like it should.  See 125-130 watts out to a dummy load thru the Bird wattmeter.  

I have a Mic that i bought with the correct plug on it that i'll throw in on the deal.  Another one of those auction site "works fine" purchases but it doesn't!
