[Drake] Audio problem in T4XC on LSB

Fellow Drakesters:

I have a weekly sked with a retired buddy on 60m and we QSY'ed earlier today 
to 40m so that I could fire up my C-line.

He noted that on LSB my audio sounded very "thin" with all highs and no 
lows.

My buddy had reported this audio problem on earlier QSO's with the C-line so 
this is not a new problem.

Switching over to USB he reported that the audio sounded great.

If the carrier oscillator in the T4XC is set at exactly 5645.00khz would 
this audio problem indicate a problem with the LSB crystal filter??

Comments/suggestions are most welcomed.
