[Drake] L4B troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
Having problems with my L4B.  Driving with a T4XC, I've got full  
output (1300-1400 watts).  Signal is clean on the scope.  HV and  
plate current normal, but grid current pins the meter "hard" to the  
left, below scale.  It's also running very hot.  Top is hot to the  
touch, and plates are cherry, even at idle.  Fan seems to be running  
smoothly (was cleaned and oiled last spring).  I re-built the power  
supply last winter with an upgrade kit from Mike at the Heathkit Shop  
(fb product) and runs cool.  Also replaced the feed-thru caps in the  
rf deck (a little tricky), and bleeders in the pwr supply at that  
time.  Shorted grid maybe?  Been working fine until now.  Any  
thoughts before I get my hands dirty?
