OK, that means the Q306 307 R/T transistors are working properly.
Could be a pin diode switch isn't so trans audio/RF is getting into the
receive audio. Look around the 2nd IF /audio board to make sure the
audio is muted.
And for general overhaul, do the unplug replug the boards trick. Many
problems are caused by poor pin contacts.
Just pull each board up an 1/8 inch and push it in a couple of times.
If you pull one too far be careful to be sure your pins and sockets are
lined up. Bending a bunch of those pins makes for a long night at the
bench.
