What I do with these kinds of motors when they get dry bearings it to
use a Dremel with a very fine drill to drill a hole into the area
where either the felt pad which holds the lubrication is located, or
if no pad direct access to the bearing.. Be careful not to go to deep
just through the housing into this space . Once this hole is drilled
inject a small amount of Mobile One,, Castrol, or other brand
synthetic oil into this space. After this is done seal the hole with a
small amount of GE Silicone. with this done you will have access to
the bearings for regular maintenance. This treatment will last for
years. .If this doesn't do the job go to Allied Electronics they have
electric motors of all sizes, shapes, and voltages, given the spec's
and dimensions of your motor they should be able to come up with a
good replacement for you, a motor which will be better then the one it
would replace.
