Hi Joe,
    IIRC (and it's like the rest) the plastic dust cover will pop off if
you use a thin prod to slightly spread the sides of it at the "open" end
as you carefully put pressure on it to move it from the base (clear as
mud?).  I wouldn't use anything other than a thin strip of paper with some
red DeOxit on it, drawn thru  the contacts, with slight pressure applied
to the n.o. contacts to close them on the paper.
