[Drake] TR-7 to amp question

The relay in the TR-7 is rated for 2A typical, 3A maximum, and 115 VAC,
so should handle most any amplifier. Unlike most "modern" rigs, the
relay in the TR-7 is standard, readily available and plugs in. They
cost about $15 if you need a new one. The imported rigs typically use
small, PC board soldered reed relays that are three or four layers
down! NOT so easy to repair/replace if they get fried.

That said, an interface can't hurt.
