[Drake] R& & TR7 use

Howdy,
 I recently put my TR7 and R7 combo back in the main operating position. I
have run into a couple of operating habits of the pair I don't remember.
 On any band it seems that when the TR7 is turned on the noise floor of the
R7 goes down, the R7 seems to loose sensitivity a bit. When the antenna
switch is moved from the main/main to main/alt position it seems to gain
sensitivity or, noise. I have an antenna connected to the TR7 only. Has
anyone else noticed this?
