Amen with all of that!

I guess the motivation is to turn a TR-7 into a FT-2000 via parting out the
TR-7.

It's a free country and you can do with it what you please.....but it's
short sighted and nothing more that financially motivated.

I'd rather see it sold to a collector in Japan (that's a hot market for US
made gear) than made into pieces and lost to the world.

Better yet sell it to a list member for what it is worth....
