Hi Dutch,

For the life of me, I cannot understand why you and several others are taking
it upon yourselves to part out a perfectly good working radio! The
TR-7 is a fine piece of gear. If you don't run the pants off it, it will sit
there at 100 watts almolst forever, and unlike the Japanese rigs, is
repairable in most cases anbd parts are still out there. Yes, the parts are worth more
than the whole rig, buit you will in the end, be left with a lot of parts that
will never sell because trhere is little or no demand for them and they will
eventually wind up in the dump. If you are looking to make some money on the
rig, jujst sell it outright, don't destroy it.

What kind of shape is it in, what options does it have and what are you
asking for it in? Does it have a good cabinet or one of those with the "sticky"
paint. I understand it is working. If it is good cosmetically, and the price is
right, I might be interested in buying it just to save it from being parted
out.

Would you part out your Gold Dust Twins? I doubt it. Why do it to a perfectly
good piece of Drake gear?

73,

John, W4AWM
