[Drake] Cleaning Drake dials

Last year I cleaned up a very dirty Drake TR 3 and TR4
and they came out very nice and clean. 

Whatever I used as a cleaning solution did a great job
and did not damage the dials BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT
SOLUTION I USED. Someone on the reflector asked me
what cleaning solution I used and I gave them the
information. NOW I CAN"T REMEMBER WHAT I USED!!!!

Am wondering if anyone I told about the solution I
mixed and used remembers what I used. If anyone has
any advice on what to use or NOT to use to clean the
dial on mt Drake R4, please share the information with
