[Drake] Dial Grease ?

Don't use any petroleum based grease or oil on any of the "plastic"
gears in the Drake dials. They are intended to be run "dry". IF they
have been oiled, especially at the hub, the material swells and causes
the dial to bind.
There is an excellent article at
<http://www.wb4hfn.com/DRAKE/DrakeArticles/PTO/Drake_PTO.htm>
that describes the problem and cure. The article specifically addresses
the problem in the C Line, so the photos aren't exact, but there is
plenty of information to guide you through the B Line dial mechanism.
