There's also a less damaging way of getting general
coverage that doesn't require cutting the board trace.
 It involves removing a transistor (I've forgotten
offhand which one), nothing more.  That's how I did
mine, worx fine and completely reversible. In no event
to you need the AUX-7 to get GenCov.  The AUX-7 did
however, limit additional coverage to specific
portions of the spectrum, unlike the board trace cut
and transistor removal, both of which open the thing
up to xmit and rcv anywhere from 1.8 - 30 MHz.
