[Drake] Looking for Mike

Dave,
Just about any mic will work with the TR4(C) which amazes
me. If you do not like the sound of it, for a very few bucks
you can buy a cartridge from Mouser Electronics at
mouser.com. If you need specifics, let me know and I can
provide the exact part numbers. Also, unless your rig has
been modified, it is not 1/4 inch jack. They are a .210
which was pretty standard for Drake. They are still
available from Switchcraft. Don't have the supplier name
handy but they are less than $10 for the plug and jack. I
keep a couple of each in case I want to put anything else in
line with the mic.

I have come into position of a TR-4. I need a mike for it
with the standard
.25 inch plug not the J-68 plug. I'd like a Drake mike but
this is not a
absolute requirement. If you have an excess mike that is
high impendence and
works with the TR-4 please quote price delivered to zip
75056. I tried other
mikes I have and they did not work -- all low impedance.
