[Drake] PS-7 Problem

Going by cloudy memory again, I recall that the control board for the SCR  in 
my supply was disconnected. I believe the SCR just broke down on it's  
own!!?? Think that is possible?
 
The guy I got mine from was the first owner. He had the paperwork for his  
service dealings. Seemed like he relied on Drake and didn't mess with it.  Going 
with that the only one's that would have disconnected it was Drake. I  
remember being slightly amazed by this. I think the fuse size was changed  also.
 
Have you seen any signs of this with the repair business?
