All: I have a Drake T-4X that did NOT have the vernier on the RF TUNE knob.
Makes it kinda hard to tune. Any suggestions on where to get the vernier
assembly?

Dennis,
The bandwidth lever just pulls off. Sometimes its tough to get off. Hold
on to the coupling in front of the bandwidth wafer to keep the stress on it
to a minimum.
The vernier drive is worn. The balls will wear a groove in the shaft. I
have had success in repairing one buy disassembling it and repositioning the
balls into an unworn area of the shaft. I made up a drawing of this I will
see if I can locate it.
