[Drake] R4A S-Meter

I'm still "De-Moding" my R4a and wonder if anybody has checked
their S Meter sensitivity with a real sig gen?   And what was the resulting
reading at 50UV?   Was linearity OK, etc?

I'm showing S9 at 50UV on 3.8, but dropping above that band and the
meter seems to compress above S9 (marks don't correspond to indicated
levels).    I'm trying to determine if I have sensitivity problems on the higher 
bands or whether the meter just really didn't mean much in the earlier models.

In the archives I read that the C-Line was set up to show S9 at 30 UV.
The A-Line book doesn't mention readings.   If it should be around 30, then
I really do have a dead RX.  Tubes, voltages, etc check out fine.  I may
still have another mod undetected...

I've been piecing back together rewired mixers, audio circuits, etc.   I'm
thankful that the previous owner was only a receiver expert.  He seems
to have left the T-4X intact!!
