[Drake] Drake 2-B paint?

Hi,

I have 5 ...yup 5....Drake 2B/2A radios I'd like to give a face-lift too.
I'd like to paint the case with a paint that will be similar to the
original.  Has anyone used something commercial available like the
Rustoleums or Krylon paints?  These radios are to be used and functional
not show pieces but looks count so I don't want to throw on some crummy
high gloss black.  Anyone have any experience with the common paints?
