[Drake] Even Racals have birdies. The TR-7 made mil spec.

Even the most touted TS-850 has birdies. You may need a modifiction if the 
problem is that bad.

  Many have pointed to poor shielding in the PTO VFO. If you have a below 
#3000 TR-7, there are many easy published mods to do.

  For the record my #4000+ TR-7 did not have the same birdie you have.

   If it is  birdie you really hve to look for......forget about it.
