Hi

Well the 1N4148's on the other side of the cap are only rated at 100 
volts. It forms a 10:1 attenuator with the C41. Anything past about 1KV 
is probably overkill.

Another way to look at it is that 1KW RF is about 220 VAC (RMS) which 
comes out to around 320 volts peak. Again a KV or so on the cap would 
do just fine.
