Bob, ask the appropriate question.  The only circuit improvements that I 
would recommend would be the power supply and audio amp mods.  Power consumption 
drops by 20 watts, heat from the audio amplifier gone, improved audio 
distortion, and a lower broadband noise floor.  The others are not worth the money.  
For filters, replacing the 4 pole usb and lsb with the 8 pole make a notable 
improvement, but the cost makes the mod impractical, $200.00 for the mod and 
$50.00 for the front panel switch replacement.  These are the only Sherwood mod 
that make any perceptible changes.
