[Drake] TR-5 Serial Number Fun, So Far..

So far 8 of you from the list have responded with their
TR-5 serial numbers, mine makes 9 and with the 5 listed
on WB4HFN's Web site we have 14 so far out of a 
possible 517, perhaps less with the mystery of the
100 or so lost at sea.

Thinking about the "Lost TR-5's" a little.  If a large lot
of them went out on a single order as the story goes would
they not be consecutive serial numbers or at least very
close. The only large gap in this small list of "KNOWN"
TR-5's is between 001167 and 001288. ( 167 - 288 )
This might support the story in a small way. It would
be interesting to find more numbers to fill in this 
gap. Also if someone from Drake would know and share
the story about the missing TR-5's.
