I understand the various 1N914 diode matrix configurations can be =
soldered in "chip carriers" to perform the same function as the =
commercial plug in chips for the AUX-7 (which are no longer made).
There is a website detailing the process. A jpeg showing the diode =
matrix layout is found at
http://home.earthlink.net/~w8pu/aux7warc.jpg
What I'd like to know is exactly what should I be looking for on-line or =
at Radio Shack that qualifies as the chip carrier to fit in the sockets =
on the AUX-7?
Thanks,
Torrey N9AUJ
