I just lost the transmit audio on my TR-4310 transceiver so I pulled the =
transmit audio/exciter board out and here is what I found:
1) The R356 resistor to ground which should be 680 ohms and strapped to =
ground only if using low impedance mic, is actualy 56 ohm in my rig
2) The R327 series 150 K resistor is actually only 1K in my rig.
I'm going to restore these resistors to the stated values in the =
manual but wonder if anyone else has found this in their rigs? Looks =
like whoever has changed these resistors in my rig was either color =
blind and couldn't read resistor values or were trying to use with a =
very very low impedance like 100 ohms or less and some kind of amplified =
mic possibly!
It only -29 celcius out here in Cranbrook BC just north of the =
Montana/Idaho borders.
Cheers from Fern
