[Drake] Call your Senators (BPL)

     I notified my Senators office here in Greensboro and spoke to his
office staff volunteer. I explained to him for about 20 minutes on this BPL
thing and what it can  potentially do but will do to the present spectrum. I
further explained about Miss Kathleeen Abernathy's remarks of a few days ago
and when I mentioned she was a Bush political appointee who is pushing this
BPL. He immediately became very interested on what the Bush Administration
had up their sleeve and was going to send this info immediately to Senator
Edwards office in Washington. I do not know if this will do any good but
since Senator Edward is running on the Democratic ticket for President just
maybe something will come out of it.
     I highly encourage everyone to make the phone calls to your
representatives and senators, be it republican or democrat, and let them
know what is going on. It is better than sitting on our toes and voicing all
the woo is me on the reflectors. Do something. Make phone calls. Be a pain
in the a**.
