Further to my previous posts seeking interest in blank pcbs suitable for
construction of a noise blanker (see below). I have had a little
difficulty sourcing a board supplier, the first one tried could only
handle 'small quantities' minimum 2000 pieces, the second only works
with protel format files, does anybody know how to get protel to do
curved tracks? The third supplier, can apparently do the business on
either compressed paper or fibreglass. I chose fibreglass and the order
has been placed. It is not yet certain if the boards will be drilled,
they might be, or a solder resist mask included, this second I doubt
though.

Price will hopefully be US $7.50 per board, INCLUDING postage. This will
be for ONE board. If you want two it will be US $15.00, the postal price
is very weight dependant and identical for all US and most EU addresses.
I need to finally confirm the postage rate from here to US and EU but I
do not expect it to push the price beyond US $10.0 per board.

I will not collect any money yet. I want to wait and get the boards here
so I can publish a picture for all to see what they will be getting.
When the time comes I will probably have you mail the cash to my UK
address, this being about the safest and simplest.

Please ask any questions?

Previous post.

Having borrowed a noise blanker to try in my R-4C from a friend I find
that it would be a very useful addition to the radio. The current prices
for the R-4C however seem rather high, 25% of the radio value, or more
in my case. I have therefore decided to reproduce this item and am
having a quantity of boards made by a prototyping firm. Before I commit
to exact numbers I thought it might be useful to see if there is any
interest in a blank pcb. The more interest the cheaper the boards, usual
pcb rules apply.

The board looks and fits the same as the R-4C NB board with the addition
of some extra holes for slightly different trimmer capacitors. I have
not decided on ordering drilled or undrilled boards as yet.
